DESCRIPTION:

A child-sized toy box overflows with plastic, wooden, and metal toy guns—some bright and playful, others eerily realistic. Hidden among them are realfirearms, nearly indistinguishable from the toys. The inside lid is collagedwith authentic gun ads marketed to children, from the 1940s to now. Avintage chalkboard easel beside it readse: "I will not bring a gun to class."

Show and Tell points to the quiet ways guns are marketed, memorized, andmade normal. If we're going to sell kids the image of a gun, it's irresponsiblenot to educate them about its reality.
